Resistance to Turnip Mosaic Virus in the Family Brassicaceae

چکیده

Resistance to diseases caused by turnip mosaic virus (TuMV) in crop species of the family Brassicaceae has been studied extensively, especially members genus Brassica. The variation response observed on resistant and susceptible plants inoculated with different isolates TuMV is due a combination plant resistome genome. Here, we review breadth this variation, both at level sequences, one eye towards phylogeny evolution virus, another nature various responses vs. types resistance responses. analyses viral genomes allowed comparisons pathotyped viruses particular indicator hosts produce clusters host types, while inclusion data geographic location formation host/geographic cluster groups, derivation which are presented here. Various studies determination brassica crops sometimes led further genetic studies, many cases include mapping genes, some actual identification genes. In addition summarizing results from such done crops, as well radish Arabidopsis (the latter potential source candidate genes for radish), also summarize work using nonconventional approaches obtaining TuMV.

Genetic control of broad-spectrum resistance to turnip mosaic virus in Brassica rapa (Chinese cabbage).

The Brassica rapa line RLR22 was resistant to eight diverse turnip mosaic virus (TuMV) isolates. A B. rapa genetic map based on 213 marker loci segregating in 120 first back-cross (B(1)) individuals was established and aligned with the B. rapa genome reference map using some of the RFLP probes. B(1) individuals were self-pollinated to produce B(1)S(1) families. The existence of two loci control...

Equilibrium sedimentation of turnip yellow mosaic virus.

Sedimentation equilibrium was achieved with turnip yellow mosaic virus at low speeds (600 rpm) in a magnetic ultracentrifuge. The experiments were carried out in the newly installed constant-speed rotor, equipped with automatic control and an electromagnetic drive. A particle mass of 5.55 x 10(6) daltons was calculated for the virus at vanishing concentrations, in essential agreement with the e...

Serological Interrelationships in the Turnip Yellow Mosaic Virus Group .--I

The serological interrelationships between eleven viruses in the turnip yellow mosaic virus group (tymoviruses) were studied with 2% antisera from 48 rabbits. Antisera from different rabbits and from different bleedings of the same rabbit showed considerable differences in their homologous and heterologous reactivities. A classification based on average serological differentiation indices is pr...
